Dry Scrubbers
Dry Scrubbers

Efficient Solutions for Air Emission Control
Also known as carbon adsorbers or physical adsorption systems, dry scrubbers are one of the most effective tools for removing total odors and volatile organic compounds (VOCs) from municipal and industrial processes.
Known for their efficiency and low maintenance, dry scrubbers are popular across numerous industries and are useful — and often necessary — for meeting regulatory compliance. They are suitable for continuous use and can withstand the elements. You can use dry scrubbers in conjunction with other air pollution control technologies.
Key Features and Benefits
Compact and efficient design for space-saving installations
Immediate treatment and suitable for intermittent use or continuous odors
A cost-effective alternative to wet scrubbers or biological odor control systems

Applications and Use Cases
- Lower ppm levels of H₂S and other contaminants
- Pump stations and lift stations
- Landfill leachate
- Polishing stage after wet scrubber or biological odor control applications
- Emergency gas release
- Corrosion testing labs
Sub-Products Overview

V1 Single Bed Carbon Adsorber
This is a low-cost, simple odor control system that utilizes activated carbon — sometimes in conjunction with a secondary polishing media — to remove odor. It’s perfect for applications ranging between 50 and 4,000 cubic feet per minute (CFM).

V2 Dual Bed Vertical Carbon Adsorber
This is a low-cost, highly effective solution for removing hydrogen sulfide (H2S) and other compounds from municipal wastewater applications. It has double the flow-rate capacity of a single bed adsorber in the same vessel diameter.

VX Radial Flow Carbon Adsorber
This is a highly effective system for removing H2S and other compounds. It can use a wide variety of adsorbent media for specific treatment needs with lower capital and operating cost than deep bed or up-flow systems, all with a smaller footprint and low pressure drop requiring lower horsepower blowers.

Horizontal Carbon Adsorber
An individual vertical bed allows for different layers of media to be changed without disturbing the others. This makes the unit a “dual media” friendly option.
- H1 Single Bed Horizontal Carbon Adsorber
- H2 Dual Bed Horizontal Carbon Adsorber
- H4 Quad Bed Horizontal Carbon Adsorber
- V Bank

Ventadsorb
Ideal for 20 to 500 CFM, Ventadsorb is perfect for a small footprint or if a passive flow system is required due to sound regulation.
