Boric acid (H3BO3) is a mild, often colorless and odorless acid.

Applications

Boric Acid is used in applications as Boric-Sulfuric Anodizing for the aerospace industry.  It is also used in the manufacture of glass, pest control, cosmetics, and cleaning agents.

Health and Environmental Impacts 

Boric acid is relatively non toxic to humans.

Control Technologies

Our HEIL Series 730 Counter-Current packed tower scrubbers are the most common technology for high efficiency scrubbing of boric acid, most often combined with aqueous caustic solutions.
